Stacks. Silos. Pilings.
Tanks. Monopoles.

For cases that do not fit the other service categories: one-off inspection and documentation of specialty cylindrical structures, with high-resolution imagery, defect mapping, and engineering handoff packages.

Specialty Asset Inspection

01 / Scope What we cover

Cylindrical structures within the platform's working envelope.

The platform serves cylindrical and square structures roughly 6 to 24 inches across, up to about 60 feet tall. For specialty applications, that envelope covers a meaningful range of industrial and commercial assets.

Arcaed is honest about fit. If your asset falls outside the working envelope, is too tall, or has geometry the clamp cannot grip, we will tell you up front.

02 / Work What you get

An engineering handoff package, not an engineering opinion.

01

High-resolution imagery

Comprehensive photographic documentation at multiple zoom levels and angles for engineering review.

02

Defect mapping

Located documentation of visible defects, anomalies, and conditions of concern, with height and position references.

03

Dimensional capture

Approximate dimensions, distances, and orientations captured during the inspection.

04

Handoff package

Structured documentation formatted for your engineer, licensed inspector, or NDT team to act on.

03 / Value Why it matters

Specialty work has specialty boundaries.

01

No stamped engineering opinions

Our deliverable is field documentation. Engineering analysis comes from your licensed engineer.

02

No NDT certification

We can support instrument access, but certified inspectors interpret readings and produce certified reports.

03

No internal stack inspection

The platform climbs external surfaces. Internal inspection requires specialized equipment and procedures.

04

No hazardous-environment certification

We do not operate in environments requiring Class I Division 1, ATEX, or similar certification.

04 / Scope Working envelope

Common specialty targets within the working envelope.

  • Small industrial stack risers
  • Commercial flue stacks
  • Smaller institutional chimneys
  • Cylindrical exhaust stacks
  • Above-water marine pilings
  • Dock and pier structural piles
  • Small storage silo legs
  • Cylindrical tank inspection
  • Telecom monopole inspection
  • Small wind turbine towers
  • Vertical monument inspection
  • Sculpture and memorial maintenance

Details Common questions

Quick answers before the first call.

When should we call Arcaed?

Call when the asset is within our working envelope and the need is primarily documentation or non-contact inspection.

When should we not call?

Do not call for major industrial stacks outside the diameter envelope, internal inspection, hazardous-environment work, or confined-space entry.

Do you replace an engineer?

No. Arcaed documents field reality. Your engineer, inspector, or NDT team produces the certified conclusion.

Can you help decide fit?

Yes. Send photos, dimensions, and access context. We will quote it or tell you who is better suited.

Ready for fit review?

Need this access on a real asset?

Send a photo, address, and asset count. Arcaed will confirm fit or point you to a better option.
